What is a thermostat
A thermostat is a device designed to regulate the temperature of a heating or cooling system in a specific room. It works by sensing the current room temperature and, based on the temperature set by the user, turns the heating or air conditioning system on or off.

Design of the thermostat
The device consists of a display with blue backlighting and a touch screen keyboard represented by two icons, providing the product with elegance and restraint.

Digital input
The digital input is configurable and allows the connection of an X.temp outdoor temperature probe (code VN883500) or a device with which to reduce the setpoint by 3°C.

Mounting tips and compatibility
It is possible to adapt the thermostat to the cover frames of the main switch and socket systems, thanks to:

white and anthracite gray frames and faceplates included in the package
silver-colored “Fr.Aros” faceplate, which can be purchased separately

Keypad lock
The “keypad lock” function with password, useful, for example, for installations in public places, prevents unauthorized people from changing settings.

Vemer also provides Aros 230 with 230 V AC power supply.
