What is a CO2 equivalent detector and how it works 
A CO2 equivalent detector is a device designed to monitor air quality and ensure safe and comfortable conditions by detecting and visually signaling the amount of CO2 equivalent in the surrounding air through sensors. The detector allows an intervention threshold to be set; the relay output is activated when the CO2 equivalent concentration threshold is reached and can be used to activate a fan unit, if any, to force air exchange. This type of device is mainly used in environments such as homes, schools, offices and other facilities, to ensure that the equivalent CO2 level is within the recommended limits for health and safety. 

Design and compatibility
The device is simple and elegant, has a convenient front knob for setting the intervention threshold and a red LED useful for signaling when the alarm threshold is exceeded by turning it on. 

The detector is adaptable to the cover frames of the main switch and socket systems (ABB, Ave, BTicino, Gewiss and Vimar) thanks to:

• supports, included in the package
• white and anthracite gray frames, included in the package 

It is possible to adapt the device to the BTicino Axolute Air cover frame via the Axo Air support, which can be purchased separately.
