TMD 10/12
Safety transformer with discontinuous service type (for doorbells), DIN rail mounting, with voltage at the primary of 230 V and at the secondary available at 4-8-12 V AC, 10 VA power. Vemer also provides the device with 110 V AC power supply on request.
How it works
In isolation transformers, the primary and secondary windings are electrically separated by double insulation to limit damage in the energized circuit from accidental contact with electrically active parts or masses that may become energized in the event of an insulation failure. The overloaded or short-circuited condition may damage the equipment but does not result in the hazardous condition for users or adjacent parts.
Usage and dimensions
TMD 10/12 is a device intended for supplying ultra-low voltage devices and has the dimensions of 2 DIN.
