Insulator suitable to be used as support or spacer of electrically active parts such as bars used to make electrical panels for both LV or MV systems. The bell-shaped insulator is particularly suitable to be used in high humidity ambients or in polluted and dusty ambients. The insulator is made of polyester resins reinforced with fiberglass to assure an high mechanical and electrical resistance long lasting. The insulator is anti-hygroscopic and high self-extinguishing. On request it can be supplied in anti-acid version, particularly suitable for use in contaminated atmospheres, or in ""halogen free"" version homologated according to UL V0 standards. On both sides the insulator has a female thread of brass or white galvanized iron to be matched with the parts through different types of special headless screws.
