Insulator suitable to be used as element of electrical connection between the internal and external parts of electrical equipments.
The insulator consists of two insulating parts, easily plugged-in together, and is made of polyester or polyamide resins reinforced with fiberglass and locked by a rod that also operates as a conducting element between the parts by means of two nuts.
One of the nuts is integral with the rod and is made of brass.
The particular construction of the insulating parts and of the rod allow to connect and disconnect the leads (fastened to the rod by zinchronium plated steel nuts) to the passing insulator without turning or unlocking it from the mounting.
