Digital time switch with weekly programming by virtual trippers, 230 V AC power supply, 1 relay and DIN rail installation (2 modules). It combines the precision of the digital clock with the ease of programming typical of switch with trippers. Vemer also provides simply D, with daily programming.
What is a digital time switch?
A time switch is a device designed for digitally control the switching on and off of electrical circuits. Thanks to a built-in timer, it can automatically turn on and off the circuit to which it is connected, according to preset times. These devices are intended for use in environments with pollution degree 2 and overvoltage category III.
How it works
The digital time switch is very easy to use. Simply W works by means of 48 virtual trippers, each corresponding to 30 minutes of maneuvering, which combined determine the total duration of the maneuver. The device contains a backup battery for maintaining date and time even without mains power. The time switch battery has a life of four years and can be easily replaced when exhausted thanks to the flap on the back of the device.
How the product looks like
The device has the size of 2 DIN. There is a large backlit display on the front of the switch to display the date, time, relay status, and textual guidance. When the device is powered by mains, the backlight always remains on; in the event of a blackout, it automatically turns off.
Vemer also provides Micro W, which has the size of 1 DIN.
