CR1DIN
CR1DIN
Modular twilight switch (1 module) with removable external probe that activates the output circuit when the ambient brightness falls below the set threshold, with a Ton delay, 230 V AC power supply.
What is a twilight switch and how it works?
An astronomical twilight switch is a device designed for control the switching on and off of electrical circuits according to the environmental conditions of sunrise and sunset. It works thanks to a photoresistance, which is an electrical component that has a resistance inversely proportional to the amount of light detected, so the more the light decreases, the more the device is activated. Twilight switches are used to automate the operation of lighting devices in places where light is not always needed, allowing significant energy savings. CR1DIN works together with an external probe, which can be placed at a maximum distance of 50 meters and has an adjustable sensitivity between 1 and 100 lux.
Led operation
The switch has a red signal LED on the front, which is useful to indicate three different situations:
- off = relay off and brightness above threshold
- on = relay on and brightness above threshold
- flashing = relay off with brightness below threshold or relay on with brightness above threshold
Vemer also provides CR1DIN with 12-24 V AC/DC power supply.
